Where the predictable meets the unpredictable
On September 8, 2026, Tetiana Gier had the honour of presenting the Austrian Music Theatre Prize for Best Supporting Actor to Jörg Schneider. Schneider was recognised for his portrayal of the Doctor in Three Sisters at the Salzburg Festival.
In the beautifully illuminated Vienna Votive Church*, more than 500 artists and guests came together to celebrate Austrian music theatre — and had the opportunity to discover Beyond Pangaea’s jewellery, presented by the founder and supporters of the award organisation.
Beyond Pangaea and classical opera share something special. The piece may be familiar, yet no two performances are ever the same. A new staging, a different voice, a single gesture can suddenly transform what we thought we knew. The familiar meets the unexpected — and creates those rare moments that surprise us, move us and stay with us.
Beyond Pangaea is made for moments like these. Jewellery where the predictable meets the unpredictable.
* The light show “Light of Creation” that covers the evolution of Earth from a different perspective is performed every day, at 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. except for Tuesdays.
